Converse 4 A Cure (C4C) was successful!

Converse 4 a Cure: The 1st Conversation. It was a hit. Great food, fly folks, dope artists and incredible entertainment. As a featured artist, I designed a pair of Chuck Taylors complete with a red patent leather tongue, handstitching, grommets and studs on a leather strap I added. And a matching leather cuff....oooooooooooowww! Proceeds go to the Sickle Cell Foundation.

Don't think that I haven't been blogging becasue I haven't been busy. Quite the contrary! I have been overwhelmingly busy.
I open a boutique and art gallery on Feb 7th, 2009. I have gathered the best indie artists and designers and provided a modern space for them converge under one roof.
Down To Earth Boutique & Gallery is the place to meet like minded artsy folk, enjoy tea while you lounge and peruse a foreign fashion mag and of course shop from the many collections of one-of-a-kind pieces for the home, bath and body, and to wear.
Join us for the Grand Opening. Come back on Valentine's Day for the pamper party from 12-4. Stop in every weekend to see what's new. Join us for Say Word! the open mic night first Friday of every month beginning in March. And join the mailing list to get invites to all of the upcoming events.
